Desert Falcon Training Report: September 5th, Evening Session

 Hello, Falcons! 🦅

Attendance!

We gathered once again on Thursday evening for another intense and focused water training session. The energy was palpable as the team assembled at QD's - Deira Creek, ready to hit the water. The evening started with a warm-up at 7:15 PM to get everyone loose and in the zone. By 7:30 PM, we were loaded up and ready to go!

Steerer: The ever-reliable Intan led us through the session, ensuring we stayed on course and kept our rhythm.

The Line-Up:

  • BOW (Left): Khaled, Philip, Jacob, Phelan
  • STROKE (Right): Mahmoud, Jobai, Is

With some gaps in the lineup, everyone had to pull extra hard, and boy, did they deliver! It was a challenging evening, but that’s what makes us stronger as a team.

Distance Covered: We powered through 3,464 meters, with each stroke bringing us closer to our goals.

Moving Time: 43 minutes and 52 seconds of pure teamwork, sweat, and determination.

Although the distance might not seem as far as some of our previous sessions, every meter was hard-earned, and every stroke counted. Training isn't just about covering distance; it's about refining our technique, building endurance, and, most importantly, working as a cohesive unit.

Each session brings us closer to the next race, and with the Abu Dhabi Dragon Boat Festival just around the corner, every training is crucial. Keep up the hard work, Falcons! Let’s continue to push our limits and support each other.

Catch you all at the next session! Let’s keep the momentum going. 🚣‍♂️

P.S. If you missed our last session, check out the report to see what we’ve been up to!
