Desert Falcons was founded on June 23, 2019, by a group of passionate individuals who shared a deep love for the sport of dragon boat paddling. Located in the vibrant city of Dubai, UAE, we quickly grew from a small group of enthusiasts into a dynamic team known for our dedication and spirit.
Our Team
Diversity is at the heart of Desert Falcons. Our team is a rich mix of cultures, bringing together paddlers from Malaysia, the Philippines, Jordan, Egypt, Poland, China, and beyond. This multicultural blend not only strengthens our team but also enriches our experiences both on and off the water. Each member brings their unique perspective, contributing to the team’s success and camaraderie.
Our Mission
At Desert Falcons, we are committed to excellence in dragon boat racing. We train rigorously three times a week, focusing on building strength, endurance, and perfecting our synchronization. Our mission is to push our limits and continuously improve while fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all team members, whether they are seasoned athletes or newcomers to the sport.
Our Achievements
Since our inception, we have participated in various local and international competitions, showcasing our skills and determination. While we are proud of our accomplishments, including securing top positions in several races, we believe our greatest achievement is the strong bond we have built as a team.
