Desert Falcons Water Training Report - 8th August 2024

On the evening of August 8th, 2024, the Desert Falcons gathered for another intense water training session at the picturesque Deira Creek, just outside QD's. The team assembled at 7:00 PM, and as the sun began to set, everyone prepared for a productive session on the water.

With the experienced Intan steering, the session kicked off promptly at 7:30 PM. The senior paddlers—Tonette, Evie, JJ, Lambert, Is, and Jobai—led the way with their smooth, synchronized strokes, setting a strong pace for the rest of the crew. These seasoned members showcased their skills, providing an excellent example for the newer paddlers.

Khaled and Nafih, our rising stars, continue to impress with their quick learning and growing confidence. Their dedication is truly paying off as they seamlessly integrate into the team, contributing to the overall rhythm and power of the boat.

Phelan, who is on their second training session, demonstrated significant improvement. He displayed more confidence in his strokes and a better understanding of the team dynamics, which are crucial in dragon boating. With every practice, he are becoming more attuned to the sport.

The evening was filled with camaraderie, laughter, and, of course, hard work. Each stroke brought the team closer to their goals, both in skill and unity. By the end of the session, everyone left the water feeling accomplished and ready for the next challenge.

The Desert Falcons continue to soar with each training session, proving that with dedication and teamwork, they can achieve great heights.
