Another Evening on the Water

The Desert Falcons gathered once again for their evening water training session at QD's on Deira Creek. With a call time of 7:00 PM, the team was ready to take on the challenges of the evening under the guidance of Coach Alain, who also took the reins as the steerer for the session. Intan was on the drums, setting the rhythm for the crew.

Warming Up for Action

By 7:15 PM, the team was already in full swing with their warm-up exercises. It was a time to shake off the day's fatigue and get into the right mindset for the session ahead. The energy was palpable as everyone stretched and prepared, knowing that a solid warm-up is key to a successful training.

On the Water

At 7:30 PM sharp, the boat was loaded, and the team was ready to hit the water. With Tonette and Evie leading in the bow, and a full crew of paddlers behind them, the boat moved with precision and power. The lineup was well-balanced, with experienced paddlers like JJ, Khaled, and Lambert providing strength and rhythm, while newcomers like Nimal, Shinoz, and Jan added fresh energy to the mix.

Alain's steering was spot-on, ensuring that the boat maintained its course and speed, while Intan's drumming kept everyone in sync. The evening session was all about working on technique and synchronization, with a special focus on the newer members. It was a full boat, and the team worked together seamlessly, each member contributing to the collective effort.
